Program Team

Guys Unit Leader (Spring/Summer) Provide support and leadership to the Cabin Leaders, assist with program planning and execution, provide leadership and teaching for Step Out, actively involved with campers through interaction and activities.
Girls Unit Leader (Spring/Summer) Provide support and leadership to the Cabin Leaders, assist with program planning and execution, provide leadership and teaching for Step Out, actively involved with campers through interaction and activities.
Waterfront Coordinator (Spring/Summer) Plan and teach waterfront program, provide lifeguard training, guard for rental groups, supervise and coordinate waterfront team, daily duties for waterfront upkeep and maintenance of water toys – ensuring all procedures adhere to camp and MCA policies and procedures.
Skills Coach (Spring/Summer) Plan and prepare material for camp skills programs, assist with rental/school group skill needs, prepare skill areas, plan and run program games, ensure skill areas adhere to camp and MCA policies and standards, teach skills, support and mentor skill leaders.
Worship Arts Leader (Spring/Summer) Plan/prepare chapel and fireside materials for camp programs, mentor/ lead chapel and fireside teams, lead pickle jar prayer meetings, plan/prepare craft & newsletter skills, prepare program devotional materials, assist with theme development, coordinate weekly with camp speaker.
Steps Leader (Spring/Summer) Program implementation of the Step Up, Step In and Step Out programs. Teach leadership and Bible lessons. Run GITs and debrief activities. Mentor Steps leaders and campers. Adhere to camp policies and follow/teach program curriculum provided.
Adventures Coordinator (Spring/Summer) Plan, prepare and lead canoe trips, assist with planning and running Tent Adventure program, plan and lead Steps canoe trips, ensure that all trips and programming adheres to camp and MCA policies and standards.
Media Producer (Summer) Photography for camp program, prepare weekly slideshow, prepare Smug Mug galleries for campers, run slideshows and sound for Chapel meetings. Submit cabin photos for print. Prepare end of season promotional slideshow. Prepare all media for end of season according to specification. (Portfolio required upon interview.)
Head Lifeguard (Summer) Assist with Waterfront Program and lifeguarding duties. Supervision of Assistant lifeguards.
Assistant Lifeguards (Summer) Lifeguarding duties. Assist with waterfront programming and activities.
Program Support (Summer) Assist Program Director with program/ activities preparation and execution.
Steps Mentors (Summer) Provide leadership/mentorship to Steps Campers. Lead Steps cabin groups (in similar fashion to Cabin Leaders). Assist with teaching sessions and program activities. Support Steps Program Leader throughout program.
Cabin Leaders (Summer) Lead cabin groups. Build relationships with campers. Teach prepared Devotional materials. Assist campers, teach skills and participate in camp program. Some opportunities for serving on Chapel and Fireside Teams.
Canoe Trip Leaders (Summer) Assist Adventures Coordinator on the canoe trips.
Health Officer (Summer) Preferable to be a current licensed Doctor, Nurse or EMT. Minimal requirements: current Standard First Aid including CPR certification. Experience in First Aid and emergency care management and asset. Knowledgeable in both children and adult illness/injury care.
Camp Speaker (Summer) Born again follower of the Lord Jesus Christ as evidenced in both word and deed. Recognized by congregation/home church as having the spiritual gift of teaching. Ability to relate well with children and youth and able to share Biblical truth in a contextually relevant manner.

Campus Care Team

Maintenance Assistant (Spring/Summer) Assist with facilities and grounds work around camp. Small maintenance/repair jobs, grounds keeping, stocking wood, etc.
Housekeeping Lead (Spring/Summer) Give leadership to Housekeeping Crew and assist with housekeeping responsibilities on camp site. Take care of lost and found throughout spring and summer programs, assist with laundry, and other campus care responsibilities.
Housekeepers (Spring/Summer or Summer) Complete housekeeping and campus care responsibilities during camp program.
Dining Hall Lead (Spring/Summer) Give leadership to Dish Crew, set up, maintain and clean Dining Hall. Assist with Theme Meal preparation and clean-up.
Dish Crew (Spring/Summer or Summer) Complete dish pit responsibilities and assist with dining hall responsibilities as required.

Office Support

Administrative Assistant (Spring/Summer) Answer phone calls. Assist with registration. Prepare weekly registration reports. Assist with office needs like photocopying, filing, mail, birthday cards, office scheduling and preparing paperwork for each camp program. Other office responsibilities as they arise.

Food Services

Assistant Head Cook (Spring/Summer) Give direction to Kitchen Staff in the absence of Head Cook. Assist with food preparation.
Kitchen Volunteer (Summer) Assist in the preparation and serving of food for the camp under the direction and guidance of the Camp Food Services and Hospitality Manager or designate.
